In today’s world the security of money is critical both to the business and also for the safety of staff. Retail establishments with high volumes of cash are often targets for criminals, especially if secure cash handling measures have not been introduced. Cash In Transit companies provide various collection options which ensures that money is safe when it leaves the premises but often the main security threat is when money is located in either the cash drawer or your back office.

 

The TELLERSAFE 200 is a medium footprint smart safe designed as a cash management solution for Retailers with a higher volume of note deposits. This device is fitted with a bulk note loader for ease of use when inserting the currency.  A tamper evident disposable bag is used to collect up to 2,500 notes at any one time.

 

User security is ensured using the Pin Keypad or the optional biometric electronic key. Up to 86 unique operators with their own individual identification numbers can utilize this device with the provision to enable 10 supervisors to monitor multiple accounts.

 

The safe is available as a category 3 SABS unit or as a non categorized version; both are equipped with an electronic lock and an anti-tampering device. The TELLERSAFE 200 can be set up as a through the wall device or as a free standing unit.
